Jobtailor is seeking a senior Civil Engineer focused on urban water engineering to lead design and construction management activities across France. You will oversee tendering, construction monitoring, and closeout while driving technical studies and master plans for drinking water and wastewater projects.

You will collaborate with multiple offices, manage teams, ensure contractual compliance, and contribute to business development through tender responses and pre-sales efforts.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in urban water engineering, in a design and construction management role.
• Engineering degree or Master's degree with a specialization in civil engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in concrete and masonry defects, soil mechanics, structural mechanics, and civil engineering.
• Proficiency in office software, particularly Excel
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential

Responsabilités

• Conduct civil engineering condition assessments and diagnose defects in structures across the water sector.
• Design water infrastructure and facilities for drinking water supply, wastewater, and stormwater management through the DIAG, Preliminary Design, Detailed Preliminary Design, and Detailed Design phases
• Carry out and monitor related and complementary studies
• Manage tendering and bid evaluation phases (ACT)
• Monitor construction works through the VISA, DET, OPC, and AOR phases
• Contribute to technical studies in urban water engineering, particularly drinking water and wastewater diagnostics and master plans
• Monitor and manage construction execution
• Supervise and manage construction works
• Oversee project completion and manage the closeout phase
• Participate in business development meetings and lead project meetings
• Contribute to tender responses and pre-sales activities
• Supervise the design and construction management team
• Monitor projects with respect to contractual and financial commitments
• Manage relationships with contractors
• Collaborate with the Brétigny-sur-Orge and Nancy offices, as well as other locations across France
