Job summary

AESC France is seeking a Project Financing Intern to support the battery plant operation and the development of a new world-class mass manufacturing gigafactory in Douai, France. The role covers cash forecasting, loan management, KYC document preparation, and cross-department coordination for finance support.

The internship requires Excel proficiency, strong written and spoken English and French, and a results-driven, analytical mindset in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Duration: 6 months (Full-time).
• Right to work in France and availability for 6 months full-time.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and French.
• Results-driven with analytical capability and ability to simplify processes.
• Team player with experience in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist on Cash Forecast: collect and analyze financial data to prepare accurate cash forecasts.
• Support Financing Related Loan Management: monitor loans, repayment schedules, and covenant compliance.
• Prepare documents for Bank KYC: coordinate and assemble required KYC documentation.
• Internal Coordination for Finance Support: liaise between finance and other departments to implement policies and ad hoc projects.

We are offering you a Project Financing Internship Opportunity to join AESC France team to support the battery plant operation and development of a new world-class and innovative mass manufacturing Gigafactory, contributing to one of the most exciting, large scale industrial developments in many years.

• Assist on Cash Forecast: Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial and operational data from relevant business units to prepare accurate cash forecasts; prioritize cash inflows and outflows to support effective liquidity planning and decision-making.
• Support Financing Related Loan Management: Monitor and manage outstanding loans, repayment schedules, and covenant compliance; liaise with internal stakeholders and external lenders to ensure timely execution of financing activities and accurate reporting.
• Prepare the Necessary Documents for Bank KYC: Coordinate and prepare all required documentation for bank KYC procedures; ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Internal Coordination for Finance Support: Act as a liaison between finance and other departments to facilitate smooth information flow, resolve financial queries, and support the implementation of financial policies, processes, and ad hoc projects.

• You are proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, complex formulas).
• You will be able demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English and local language.
