Entroview, a pioneering deep tech startup, seeks a Master’s student for a 6-month finance internship in Lyon to build the financial backbone of a growing company.

You'll design dashboards (MRR, ARR, burn rate), build 18–36 month forecasts, and prepare materials for the board, working directly with the CEO and sales teams to inform strategic decisions and support fundraising.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Master’s degree in Finance or related field.
• Strong understanding of startup financial metrics (burn rate, runway, ARR).
• Ability to build investor-friendly deliverables and dashboards.

Why is this role right for you?

Entroview is entering a critical phase of financial structuring: fundraising is underway, we’re generating our first recurring revenue, and we need to plan for hiring. The CEO needs a finance right-hand person capable of implementing management tools that don’t yet exist and building the models that will inform strategic decisions and discussions with investors.

You’re not here to do bookkeeping. You’ll help build the financial backbone of a growing deep-tech company, working directly with the CEO and sales teams on issues that have an immediate impact on the company’s trajectory. A rare opportunity for a finance professional with a top-tier business school background who wants to see how things are really built.

Your responsibilities:

• Design and deploy a financial management dashboard: MRR, ARR, burn rate, runway, CAC, LTV, tailored to the needs of an early-stage B2B deep-tech startup
• Build and maintain the financial forecast model: revenue projections, hiring plan, 18–36-month growth scenarios
• Prepare financial materials for the board
• Implement tools and processes for operational budget tracking (expenses, contracts, grants, CIR)
• Analyze profitability by segment, product, and distribution channel
• Monitor key metrics related to sales activity (pipeline, conversion rate, ARR per account)
• Help structure internal financial processes to support growth

What we’re looking for:

• A meticulous and self-reliant individual capable of structuring complex financial matters without being told every step
• Comfortable with both Excel/Google Sheets modeling and formatting clear deliverables for non-financial stakeholders
• A genuine curiosity about the business, you don’t just crunch numbers; you understand what they reveal about strategy
• Someone who knows how to take initiative and propose solutions, not wait for instructions

Required qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree: Top business school, MS in Finance, Entrepreneurship/Finance
• Strong understanding of startup financial metrics: burn rate, runway, unit economics, ARR
• Strong writing and formatting skills for investor deliverables

Optional skills:

• Knowledge of innovation financing mechanisms in France: CIR, BPI, deep tech grants
• Experience with financial reporting or BI tools (Notion, Pennylane, Tableau, Google Looker Studio…)
• Experience in a startup, investment fund, or strategy consulting firm
• Interest in the deep tech, energy, or electric mobility sectors
• Direct access to the CEO and strategic decisions, you’ll see the real numbers and the real trade-offs
• A hands-on role with deliverables that make an immediate impact: the dashboards you build are put to use the very next day
• A fundraising context rarely seen from the inside as an intern
• Immediately valuable experience: startup modeling, financial management
