Uniper is seeking a Project Development Manager in France to lead project planning and execution from initiation to completion. You will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery while supporting organizational growth and portfolio development.

The role requires deep knowledge of permitting, land contracts, and grid connections for wind and solar projects, plus strong communication in international settings.

Responsabilités

• Manage project planning, implementation, and oversight in France from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders for timely, cost-effective execution.
• Initiate, monitor, and coordinate environmental planning, connection, and construction processes.
• Support Management Board in organizational growth and project portfolio development.
• Assist in negotiating real estate usage rights and contracts with energy operators.
• Manage weekly project reporting using Uniper internal tools.
• Design and improve tools to manage development activities with internal teams.

Your responsibilities

• Management of project planning, implementation, and oversight in France, from initiation to completion.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders, to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
• Initiation, monitoring, and coordination of official procedures, including environmental planning, connection, and construction processes.
• Providing support to the Management Board in organizational growth and project portfolio development.
• Assisting in the negotiation of agreements securing real estate usage rights and contracts with energy operators and contractors.
• Manage weekly reporting on their own projects based on Uniper internal tools
• Design, implement and continuously improve the tools used to manage development activities, in coordination with the relevant internal teams.
• Building positive relationships through collaboration with local authorities, communities, and landowners.

Your profile

• Degree in engineering, business, economics, or a related field, with a solution-oriented mindset and commitment to learning
• In-depth knowledge of project development stages, including permitting, land contracts, and grid connections, with track record in utility-scale solar or wind projects up to financial investment decision
• Technical expertise in wind and solar projects, including CAD, GIS, and Office tools, with experience in the french regulatory framework and permitting
• Strong project management skills, including the use of tools, detailed reporting, and long-term planning
• Growth mindset with openness to new technologies and a willingness to continuously develop relevant skills and capabilities
• Familiarity with financial tools and concepts, and excellent communication and presentation skills in international, multicultural settings
• Fluency in French and English; additional language skills are a plus
