The Intercultural Cities Programme at the Council of Europe, based in Strasbourg, seeks a Programme Manager to lead the development and implementation of intercultural inclusion initiatives. You will support member cities, national networks and regional authorities, and organise ICC events, study visits, and capacity-building activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in intercultural inclusion policies or practices.
• Very good knowledge of English and basic knowledge of French or ability to learn on the job.
• Citizen of one of the Council of Europe member States.
• Solid knowledge and practical experience with intercultural inclusion approach and its application in public policy or community engagement.
• Competencies in outreach, partnership building and stakeholder engagement with public authorities, civil society, academia or international organisations.
• Ability to work with Office tools and digital collaboration platforms.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Intercultural Cities Programme and reinforce synergies with ADI-INT.
• Support relations with member cities, national networks and regional authorities.
• Carry out outreach and support actions for prospective member cities and governments.
• Organise, plan and implement ICC events, study visits and capacity-building initiatives.
• Contribute to ICC membership reform, including communication and follow-up with members.
• Contribute to planning initiatives for the ICC 20th anniversary in 2027, including flagship events and publications.
• Ensure communication, dissemination and visibility of ICC tools and results.
• Assist national network coordinators and contribute to thematic work and the Index process.
• Foster synergies between ICC and ADI-INT and provide support to the Head of Unit.
