Amcor is seeking a Production Manager for the Chalon site in France to lead Production and Operations Excellence. The role focuses on safety, cost control, continuous improvement and plant leadership within a 24/7 operation with around 120 staff including CI engineers and shift leaders.

Fluent French and English, strong leadership, and a background in Lean/Six Sigma are essential. This role reports to the Plant Leadership Team and involves driving performance across the unit.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and supervision.
• Experience in packaging is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
• Experience leading significant change/transformation projects in manufacturing.
• Lean and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Degree in science, technology or engineering; advanced degree advantageous.
• Knowledge of production machines and process controls; SAP and shop floor systems.

Responsabilités

• Support safety performance of the plant and drive safety programs.
• Deliver production budgets, cost-to-produce and cost-out targets.
• Define and assign goals and improvement projects to line managers.
• Manage organisational processes, roles, headcount, shifts and activities.
• Promote Amcor culture and lead CI improvements.
• Maintain high motivation and engagement within the team.
• Lead daily performance meetings and introduce best practices.
