Job summary

Amcor Limited seeks a Plant General Manager for the Saint Seurin site in France. You will lead safety programs, optimize production performance, and drive cost-out initiatives while aligning with the global Amcor culture and strategy.

You will manage a 24/7 production operation, oversee a 100-person team, and collaborate with site leadership to deliver.continuous improvement and operational excellence across packaging processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and supervision.
• Fluent French and English language skills required; additional languages advantageous.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
• Knowledge of production machines, process control equipment, energy management and shop-floor systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs and promote a strong safety culture across the plant.
• Deliver production budget, cost-to-produce and cost-out targets.
• Define and assign goals and improvement projects to line managers to drive competitiveness and efficiency.
• Manage organizational processes: roles, headcounts, shifts, and activities within budget.
• Promote Amcor values and maintain high motivation and engagement within the team.
• Lead CI improvement projects and report KPI performance to Plant Leadership.
• Support PGM and HR in industrial relations and disciplinary issues.
• Share best practices with other plants and drive implementation of new technologies.
