Job summary

Amcor Saint-Seurin plant in France seeks a Plant General Manager to lead 100 staff across production, maintenance and CI initiatives, ensuring safety and cost control while delivering 24/7 operations.

You will implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, manage budgets, coordinate with HR and PGM, and drive continuous improvement through KPI analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in science, technology or engineering; advanced degree is advantageous.
• Lean and continuous improvement knowledge (Six Sigma, Kaizen) and change management.
• Experience managing significant transformation projects in manufacturing.
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Support plant safety performance and drive safety culture.
• Deliver production budget, cost-to-produce and cost-out targets.
• Define and assign goals, lead improvement projects, ensure efficiency.
• Define processes, roles, headcount, shifts per policies and budget.
• Lead CI projects and report KPIs for process performance.
• Collaborate with HR and Plant Leadership Team on industrial relations.
• Share best practices with other plants and drive new technologies.
