Job summary

Amcor, a global leader in responsible packaging, seeks a Production Manager for the Chalon-sur-Saône site. You will lead a multi-shift operation within the 24/7 plant, champion safety, productivity and continuous improvement across the 120-strong team including 7 shift leaders and a CI engineer.

You will report to the Plant Leadership Team, manage budgets, and drive changes that improve cost, quality and delivery. Fluent French and English are required; packaging experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and supervision.
Experience in packaging is an advantage but not prerequisite.
Lean and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Degree in science/technology/engineering preferred; advanced degree advantageous.

Responsibilities

Support plant safety performance and safety programs.
Define goals and improvement projects for line managers.
Manage organizational processes and headcount in line with budget.
Promote Amcor culture and drive engagement.
Lead CI improvements and KPI reporting.
Support Plant Leadership Team and HR on industrial relations.
