Jobtailor is seeking a Product Owner to define the product vision in collaboration with leadership and to prioritize the backlog based on business value, constraints, and available resources. You will write clear, actionable user stories for the development team and make day-to-day product decisions to keep the product on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum three years of higher education), ideally in software development or computer science.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Product Owner role.
• Understand software development, read architecture diagrams, and discuss technical constraints.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and prioritization skills.
• Experience writing user stories and managing a backlog.
• Strong product mindset and user focus.
• Comfortable using JIRA, Figma, and Confluence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive and capable of taking initiative.
• Self-directed, with the ability to maintain perspective.
• Empathetic and considerate.

• Define and champion the product vision in collaboration with the Product Manager and leadership
• Prioritize and make decisions on the backlog based on business value, technical constraints, and available resources
• Write clear, actionable user stories for the development team
• Make day-to-day product decisions: approve, realign, and resolve issues
• Serve as the point of contact between stakeholders and the development team
• Facilitate sprint planning sessions, demos, and backlog refinement
• Measure and manage delivered value, define success metrics, and track results
• Translate business priorities into concrete actions for developers
