Campion Pickworth is recruiting an experienced Product Owner for a major transformation programme in the financial services sector. The role focuses on building a data-centric ecosystem across the financing value chain and requires strong backlog ownership and stakeholder engagement.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, BAs, developers, and delivery teams, define the product vision, and drive delivery across Front Office to IT. Experience in Agile environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong PO experience in financial services.
• Background in data governance and data modelling.
• Experience with reference data (e.g., counterparties, rates).
• Knowledge of access rights/permissions management (ARM).
• Understanding of data flows between stakeholders.

The role sits within a strategic Structured Finance / Loans transformation programme, focused on building a global, data-centric ecosystem across the financing value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and prioritise the product/team backlog, translating business requirements into user stories.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, BAs, developers, technical leads and delivery teams.
• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap.
• Drive delivery across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, Risk and IT.
• Participate in sprint planning, PI planning and product demonstrations.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience as a Product Owner within financial services.
• Background in data, data governance and/or data modelling.
• Experience with reference data (e.g. counterparties, rates).
• Knowledge of access rights/permissions management (ARM).
• Understanding of connectivity processes and data flows between different stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
