Beamy is seeking a Product Engineer Intern to join our R&D squad in Paris. You’ll engage in exploration, rapid prototyping, and experimentation, delivering end-to-end proofs of concept that test innovative product features and AI-powered insights.

You will work on a high-autonomy role, collaborating with engineering and product teams to bring the most promising ideas to production and accelerate feature time-to-market.

Qualifications

• French-speaking (native).
• Pursuing Bac+4/5 in engineering school.
• Enjoy solving open-ended problems and Brain-teasers.
• Fast learner who can pick up new tools, languages, and methodologies.
• Love rapid prototyping and connecting data/AI to product features.

Responsabilités

• Prototype and validate new ideas: quick, functional proofs of concept.
• Apply AI, NLP, automation to enrich our SaaS catalog and improve detections.
• Explore new interaction paradigms for browser extension with AI/contextual notifications.
• Work with data stack (BigQuery, dbt, Python) to identify patterns in SaaS usage.
• Deliver POCs quickly while ensuring smooth handoff to core engineering for productionization.

Job Description

We’re building a browser-based platform that detects and manages SaaS usage across large enterprises in real-time. Our technology combines a high-performance browser extension (300,000+ users) with data processing pipelines that analyze usage patterns, and a contextual notification / conversational system. We operate at the intersection of browser technology, real-time data processing, and enterprise security to help companies control their SaaS ecosystem and guide employees to better software usage.

As we want to accelerate our tech, we’re launching an innovation squad dedicated to exploring new technologies, building POCs, and prototyping cutting‑edge features for our platform

About The Role

We’re looking for a Product Engineer Intern to join our newly formed R&D squad. This team is focused on exploration, rapid prototyping, and experimentation. You’ll work on high-impact, exploratory projects—from building intelligent SaaS detection mechanisms to developing AI-powered insights and crafting new user experiences (AI agent in the browser for example)

This is a high-autonomy role where you’ll work on end-to-end prototypes, validate their feasibility, and collaborate with our core engineering and product teams to bring the most promising ideas into production.

You’ll contribute widely to the time to market acceleration of impactful features

Missions

• Technical Challenges You’ll Tackle
• Prototype and validate new ideas: Develop quick, functional proofs of concept to test innovative product features.
• Use cutting edge techs: Apply AI, NLP, and automation to enrich our 50K+ SaaS catalog and improve detection accuracy or behaviours triggers in our extension
• Explore new interaction paradigms: Develop new ways for our users to interact with our web browser extension, via AI, contextual notifications etc
• Extract insights from massive datasets: Work with our data stack (BigQuery, dbt, python) to identify patterns and trends in SaaS usage across large enterprises.
• Balance speed & quality: Deliver POCs quickly while ensuring a smooth handoff to the core engineering team for productionization.

• Exploration roadmap: Work closely with product and leadership to identify promising innovation areas.

Experience

• You’ll Be a Great Fit If:
• -You're french speaking (native)
• -You are in Bac +4 or Bac +5 of engineering school (Ecole Polytechnique, Télécom Paris, Centrale Supélec…)
