CMA CGM Group is offering an internship in the CMA Ships Purchasing Department in Marseille. You will join the Strategic Purchasing team and contribute to sourcing, contracting, and supplier management within a dynamic shipping and logistics environment.

You will develop skills in tendering, contract drafting, and SRM tooling while supporting sustainable procurement initiatives and process improvements. This paid internship is designed for a Bac+4/5 student seeking real-world experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree (BAC+4/5) in Purchasing or related field.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate professionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Good understanding of purchasing and procurement principles.
• Resourceful, autonomous and proactive in work.
• Curious and eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsabilités

• Manage a specific purchasing category.
• Lead calls for tenders from preparation to supplier selection.
• Draft and implement contracts in collaboration with team.
• Follow-up on purchase orders and payments.
• Audit supplier pre-qualification processes.
• Review and update purchasing procedures; contribute to new ones.
• Support development of an SRM tool focused on sustainability and compliance.
