The role requires 8+ years in senior procurement, strong leadership, and fluency in French and English. You will partner with Group Procurement and European markets to deliver value across the business.

• Executive-level stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Fluency in French and English; procurement qualifications desirable.

Reporting: Managing Director and Group Procurement Director.

About the role

As part of an ambitious business transformation programme, procurement is central to unlocking value across all spend categories. The France Procurement Director will play a cornerstone role in this transformation, delivering sustainable savings and process improvements while maintaining operational excellence. This is a high-impact senior leadership position with significant accountability for EBITDA delivery, cost reduction, supplier performance and procurement-led business transformation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the France procurement strategy across direct materials, fleet, subcontractors, facilities, services and indirect spend.
• Owning and delivering the France procurement savings target and contributing directly to EBITDA improvement.
• Developing category strategies and identifying short-, medium- and long-term value creation opportunities.
• Leading strategic supplier negotiations, contract renewals and supplier relationship management.
• Driving procurement transformation, digitalisation and improved ways of working.
• Strengthening procurement governance, contract management and purchase-to-pay processes.
• Building procurement capability and leading a high-performing France procurement team.
• Acting as a credible and influential procurement voice within the French Senior Leadership Team.
• Working closely with Group Procurement and other European markets to share best practice and deliver Group-wide initiatives.

We are looking for:

• Significant procurement leadership experience, typically 8+ years in senior roles.
• A proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings, EBITDA contribution and procurement transformation.
• Experience managing procurement across multiple categories within a complex operational environment such as manufacturing, construction, industrial services, facilities or a similar sector.
• Strong commercial, financial and analytical capability, with the ability to translate procurement initiatives into P&L impact.
• Extensive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, contract management and SRM.
• Experience leading, developing and inspiring procurement teams.
• Strong executive-level stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• CIPS/MCIPS or equivalent professional qualification, MBA/post-graduate qualifications, and experience with procurement digitalisation, SAP, ESG or multi-country procurement are desirable.
