Job summary

Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions seeks a Process Safety Engineer to ensure safe design of plants through commissioning and handover to clients. Under the Process Risk Manager, you will secure process safety across the project lifecycle, drafting PRMPs and coordinating HAZID/HAZOP analyses and EIS identification.

Required: engineering degree (or Master 2) in chemical engineering or process safety, 3+ years in process safety, and fluent English. International travel will be needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in chemical engineering or Master 2 in process safety/chemical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in process engineering and/or process safety.
• Fluent English (read/write/speak) is essential for international projects.
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and ability to lead in multidisciplinary environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across functions.

Responsibilities

• Draft the process risk management plan (PRMP) for the design phase.
• Identify and apply internal Air Liquide standards and external regulations; present safety standards to clients.
• Lead process safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA/SIL) and define safety instrumented systems.
• Model and analyze risks using PHAST or internal tools to propose preventive measures for incidents.
• Contribute to plant layout implantation and gas/fire detection concepts; support field commissioning and PSSR on site (international travel).
