Job summary

Airswift is recruiting Process Engineers for an onshore project in Paris. You will be involved in process engineering and design development for facilities in Energy, Oil & Gas, and Refining sectors.

Required: Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering and 1–4 years of process design experience, with knowledge of P&IDs, PFDs, HMBs, and process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS or Aveva PRO/II. English fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-4 years of experience in Process Engineering.
• Knowledge of API, ISO, ANSI, etc.
• Experience with process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS or Aveva PRO/II.

Responsibilities

• Define rules and design criteria for sizing equipment, instruments, and piping.
• Prepare technical descriptions for Process, Utility, and Support units (e.g. Flares and Storage).
• Develop calculation notes for the sizing of equipment, instruments, and piping.
• Draft process specifications and PDS for equipment and instruments.
• Define the logic of control and safety systems for the facility.
• Develop P&IDs and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
• Develop Heat and Material Balances (HMBs).
• Review documents issued by other disciplines and suppliers.

The Role Airswift’s Paris office is recruiting Process Engineers for an Onshore project. You will be involved with the execution of technical engineering activities in Process Engineering & Design Development, in accordance with industry best practices, as part of engineering projects and studies for the design of industrial facilities in the sectors which include Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemical and related.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in defining rules and design criteria for sizing equipment, instruments, and piping.
• Prepare technical descriptions for Process, Utility, and Support units (e.g. Flares and Storage).
• Develop and prepare calculation notes for the definition and sizing of equipment, instruments, and piping.
• Participate in drafting process specifications and process data sheets (PDS) for equipment and instruments.
• Participate in defining the logic of control and safety systems for the facility.
• Participate in the development of detailed engineering and process diagrams (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams - P&IDs).
• Participate in the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
• Participate in the development of Heat and Material Balances (HMBs).
• Review, verify, and check documents issued by other engineering disciplines and by suppliers/vendors.

Profile

Education: Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

Experience: 1-4 years experience within Process Engineering

Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (API, ISO, ANSI, etc.).

Knowledge of process simulation and calculation software such as Aspen HYSYS or Aveva PRO/II.

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in refining process studies

Solid experience with P&IDs and process specifications

Good understanding of equipment and instrumentation interfaces
