Job summary

Institut Curie is seeking a researcher for the CellAction Process Development group at Saint-Cloud to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cell- and gene-based therapies. You will transfer pre-GMP workflows, design analytical methods, and ensure product quality in a GMP-regulated setting.

The role requires 2-5 years in cell/gene therapy process development, proficiency in aseptic mammalian culture, and strong communication to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in process development (cell therapy, gene therapy, or drug development).
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cell and gene therapies, including viral/non-viral vectors and genome editing.
• Transfer pre-GMP processes into robust, reproducible workflows suitable for clinical manufacturing.
• Develop analytical methods and monitor CPPs and CQAs to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to troubleshooting, and support continuous process improvement.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure GMP regulatory compliance.
