Responsibilities

• Assists physician during procedures by handling procedural equipment and ensuring patient safety.
• Prepares procedural rooms and readiness of equipment and supplies.
• Uses sterile technique to set up for procedures and prepares instruments and sterile sheets.
• Prepares patients for procedures and records vital signs, reporting abnormal results to the RN.
• Performs EKGs as delegated by RN and monitors patient status during procedures.
