Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assists with infection control and handling of sterile supplies.
• Cleans and reports equipment in need of repair.
• Manages OR inventory par levels with the supervisor.
• Reports observations and patient information to the charge nurse.
• Assists with case setup and ensures equipment is ready for the next case.
• Answers OR desk phones and takes messages as directed.
• Applies safe lifting and body mechanics when moving patients.
