Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a dedicated patient care collaborator to join the inpatient surgery and intermediate care unit. In this role, you will work closely with a registered nurse to develop, implement, and monitor patient care plans, ensuring high-quality outcomes and patient safety.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and 0-1 years of related experience, with preference for prior patient care exposure such as CNA, MA, ED Tech, EMT, or PCT.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience preferred.
• Patient care experience in CNA, MA, ED Tech, EMT, PCT, or student rotation is favored.
• Basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an inpatient nursing team to develop and monitor patient care plans.
• Support registered nurses in maintaining competency and safety standards.
• Assist in safeguarding patients identified as at risk through safety interventions or protective devices.
• Report patient activity and progress to the supervising nurse in a timely manner.
