Zing Recruiting in Louisville, KY is seeking a Chemical Batch Maker to safely operate mixing, milling, and blending machinery and turn raw materials into pigment products.

The role requires following formulas and safety guidelines, with 1+ year of chemical/manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The shift is 7:30am-4:00pm on a contract-to-hire basis, offering $23-$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience in chemical, paint, or manufacturing plant environment.
• Basic math and metric measurement abilities.

Responsabilités

• Weighing and measuring raw pigment powders, solvents, and additives according to batch tickets and formulas.
• Load and operate industrial mixers, dispersion tanks, mills, and pumps.
• Take in-process samples to test strength, viscosity, pH, and consistency.
• Log batch numbers, weights, processing times, and readings accurately.
• Wear PPE, manage dust control, handle hazardous chemicals safely, and clean equipment.
