Data4 Group is seeking a Sales Engineer to support the sales team with specialized technical expertise for data center solutions across AI and HPC workloads. You will translate customer requirements into deliverable designs and act as the main technical interface among customers, sales, design, and international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 3–5+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution design — ideally in data center, colocation, telecom, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure (power and cooling) with interest in emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of AI compute requirements, GPU clusters, and high-performance networking.
• Ability to build or contribute to cost models and assess technical and commercial risk.
• Experience responding to RFIs/RFPs and structuring customer-facing technical proposals.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Visio.

Responsabilités

• Capture customer requirements and translate them into deliverable technical solutions for opportunities and expansion projects.
• Validate solution feasibility across power, cooling, space, and operations constraints, including high power density and liquid cooling for AI/HPC workloads.
• Develop Capex cost models and assess risks and alternatives.
• Collaborate with Design and other internal stakeholders on non-standard requirements and costing.
• Coordinate with Design and fit-out teams to translate contracted solutions into deployment-ready designs.
