GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a motivated Senior Project Engineer to work with the Power Business Sector. This position is based out of our Louisville, KY office, working a variety of projects around Kentucky and surrounding states. We are searching for an energetic, outgoing person to support projects associated with power stations, roadways, landfills, renewable energy, and abandoned mine land reclamation projects. GAI Consultants, Inc. offers its employees, upon approval by supervisors, the ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setting. The successful candidate will enjoy working and leading a team-oriented environment and will utilize their college education and past work experience to continue their development as a professional engineer with the ability to grow in today's environment.
The candidate should have the desire and ability to travel to Project sites, as needed, primarily in the mid-west and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
Develops and reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance. Typically, in responsible charge of projects. Keeps informed of updates to standards, regulations, and best practices. Analyzes complex engineering projects to determine design requirements, uncertainties, and constraints. Acknowledges and applies concepts of sustainability to engineering projects.
Assigns tasks to and directs other technical and non-technical staff. Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of the engineering work. Prepares scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments. Assists with proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs.
B.S. Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, reciprocity in multiple states.
