Job summary

The postdoctoral researcher will join the CECI Laboratory (Climate, Environment, Coupling and Uncertainties, UMR 5318) at IPGP/Toulouse, within the EU SAFESEA consortium, to study climate stressors and stakeholder engagement across regional, national, and international levels. Collaboration with CEAZA and UNESCO IOC-UNESCO is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong background in marine biogeochemistry and/or social sciences.
• Experience designing, implementing and analyzing social science surveys.
• Proficiency in scientific programming languages and analytical tools.
• Excellent command of scientific English for international work.

Responsibilities

• Engage a broad range of stakeholders at regional, European, and global levels to inform project strategy.
• Co-develop decision-support tools that contextualize climate knowledge for diverse groups.
• Design and implement an integrated communication strategy on ocean stressors.
• Monitor and evaluate project activities using defined KPIs and ensure continuous learning.
