The postdoctoral researcher will participate in the DEVIN project (Numerical Modeling of DNA Electroporation Vaccination), which aims to investigate the physical mechanisms underlying the electropermeabilization of biological membranes and DNA transfer using pulsed electric fields. They will conduct experimental work on membrane and cellular models, in connection with the numerical modeling approaches developed within the project, and contribute to the dissemination and promotion of the scientific results.
The position is based at the IPBS (Institute of Pharmacology and Structural Biology) in Toulouse, within the Cellular Biophysics team, which specializes in the interactions between electric fields and biological systems.
The DEVIN project brings together the IPBS, the Inria Centre at the University of Rennes, and the Ampère laboratory in Lyon, fostering collaboration between experimental biophysics and numerical modeling.
Independence, scientific rigor, the ability to work as part of a team, and proficiency in scientific English are essential.
