Université de Strasbourg invites applications for a Postdoctoral research fellow in molecular modelling of synaptic receptors within the GlyTrans ANR project. The role focuses on MD simulations, MSM development, and collaboration with Pasteur's teams.

The position is 12-24 months, full-time at IFM (UMR7177). Candidates should hold a PhD obtained within the last 3 years and demonstrate strong English communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field obtained within the last 3 years.
• Proficiency in MD simulations and Markov-state modelling.
• Experience with HPC resources and large-scale computing.

Responsabilités

• Set up and run MD simulations of GlyR in different conformational states.
• Construct MSMs based on MD sampling and interpret results.
• Collaborate with Pasteur to validate in silico observations experimentally.
• Utilise Gromacs, PYEMMA and Deeptime for simulations and analysis.
