Université de Strasbourg invites applications for a Postdoctoral research fellow in molecular modelling of synaptic receptors. The project is part of the ANR-funded GlyTrans collaboration between the Institut de Chimie de Strasbourg and Institut Pasteur in Paris.

The role covers 12–24 months at the IFM lab, with a focus on MD simulations, MSM construction, and cross-institution collaboration. The successful candidate will work with Gromacs for simulations, and PYEMMA/Deeptime for MSMs, under the

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MD simulations and Markov-state modeling.
• Experience in managing HPC resources and workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Set up and run MD simulations of GlyR in different conformations.
• Construct MSMs based on MD sampling and analyze results.
• Collaborate with Pasteur to validate in silico observations and formulate testable hypotheses.
