IMT Mines Alès invites applications for a 20-month, full-time Postdoctoral Researcher position affiliated with the AMI CMA project, focusing on the fire safety of lithium-ion batteries and polymer environments. The role is based at Alès, France, and involves close work with the Mines Alès Materials Centre (C2MA) and the PCH research unit.

Qualifications

  • Good command of scientific English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to showcase work through publications in international journals and presentations at conferences.

Responsabilités

  • Participate in design, development and implementation of an experimental test bench for battery fire safety studies.
  • Define experimental protocols, conduct campaigns and analyse results to understand fire propagation mechanisms.
  • Contribute to IMT Mines Alès teaching in battery fire safety.
  • Design and implement a training module on thermal runaway and prevention strategies.
  • Prepare teaching materials and deliver associated courses.
  • Disseminate project results through scientific channels and collaborations.
