BRGM in France is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to advance the LDB bioreactor project from laboratory to pilot scale, as part of the INSOKA Horizon Europe program. The position focuses on experimental work, bioreactor operation, and scale-up under WP3 and WP7, with cross-cutting tasks and dissemination.

You will design and conduct tests, analyze kinetics, and contribute to CFD modeling, hydrodynamics, and microbiology aspects.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related field with strong experimental and driver-based research experience.
• Experience in bioleaching and microbial consortia handling.
• Proven ability to design and run lab and pilot-scale tests.

Responsabilités

• Develop the LDB bioreactor from lab scale to pilot scale.
• Conduct T3.1 bioleaching tests and T3.2 agitator development.
• Scale up processes and contribute to CFD modeling and data analysis.
