APTIM is seeking a site Construction Manager to support design-build construction projects at the Alabama Port Authority in Mobile, Alabama. This field position provides construction oversight for medium to large-scale maintenance and capital projects supporting terminal operations.

The role emphasizes leadership in on-site activities, safety compliance, and collaboration with client representatives and APTIM colleagues to deliver quality results on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• On-site construction experience in large-scale port/terminal operations.
• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10 years minimum field construction experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain TWIC and port access credentials.

Responsabilités

• Develop scope of work, schedules, and cost estimates for construction activities.
• Develop project execution plans, risk assessment, and preliminary field planning.
• Complete Daily Production Reports documenting inspection activities.
• Maintain clear verbal and written communication with all project stakeholders.
• Oversee field workmanship, progress, cost control, and quality.
• Oversee safety programs and resolve issues affecting the project.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and control field activities.
• Coordinate efficient use of contractors, personnel, and equipment.
• Oversee commissioning, final inspection, and punch list resolution.
