Listgrove Ltd. is seeking a Polymer Synthesis Technician to join its Bordeaux-based R&D team. The role combines organic and polymer synthesis, with emphasis on assay-driven development and automation collaboration in a high-tech environment.

You will conduct syntheses, manage inert-atmosphere operations, analyze samples with NMR, chromatography and SEC, and contribute to process optimization and rigorous reporting. A strong background in chemistry and 10 years in synthesis labs is required.

Formación

• Education in chemistry or materials (Bac+2/3 or equivalent).
• 10 years in a synthesis laboratory (organic and/or polymers).
• Strong synthesis and analytical skills with rigorous reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out organic syntheses (monomers, intermediates, reagents) per established protocols.
• Synthesize polymers and prepare samples for analyses and R&D.
• Apply standard synthesis techniques, including inert atmosphere (Schlenk line, glovebox).
• Monitor reactions and perform routine analytical checks (NMR, chromatography, spectroscopy, SEC).
• Participate in optimizing synthesis processes with the R&D team.
• Ensure operation, upkeep and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Write laboratory notebooks, technical reports and summaries.
• Contribute to site safety, reagent stocks and waste management.
