Job summary

Dioxycle in Saint-Ouen, France seeks a Senior Lab Technician to scale lab operations as it develops its novel catalysis technology. The role requires meticulous, organized work and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency in an industrial chemistry lab.

You will prepare samples, perform routine characterizations (NMR, DLS, titration), manage feedstocks, and collaborate with external laboratories. A chemistry degree and bilingual French/English capability are preferred for effective teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial or research chemistry lab
• Bachelor’s or Master in chemistry, material sciences or related field
• Fluent French and working-level English are required

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for characterization daily
• Perform routine chemical and physical characterization (NMR, titration, DLS, compression tests)
• Prepare pilot-scale chemical feedstocks
• Carry out electrochemical characterization and aid method development
• Manage waste and gas handling
• Maintain clean, safe and organized workspaces
• Ensure adequate lab supplies and run routine safety tasks
• Collaborate with external labs for characterization and compile reports
• Produce electrodes and support general lab operations and automation
• Foster a culture of lab safety
