Ledger is seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Director to lead the Platform Engineering team within Infrastructure & Operations. The role reports to the VP and focuses on cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, and tooling.

You will provide strategic leadership, drive IaC, observability, incident response, and ensure scalable, reliable production systems, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with SRE, Security, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/platform/infrastructure engineering with senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading platform/infrastructure teams in distributed environments.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, containers, IaC, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience building developer platforms or internal PaaS.

Responsabilités

• Define and execute platform engineering strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead Platform Engineering team to high performance and oversee architecture standards.
• Oversee design, development, and maintenance of developer platforms enabling CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Design scalable, highly available production systems and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide architectural guidance during incidents and mentor engineers across teams.
