LSEG's London Stock Exchange Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer Ops to design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure and Google.

You will implement IaC, build monitoring, and lead incident response, collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure resilience and compliance in regulated environments.

The role emphasizes automation, capacity planning, and continuous improvement, with a Senior Associate career stage and a global, diverse team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years as a Cloud Engineer, SRE or similar role in regulated/high-availability environments.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms (5+ years).
• Expertise in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes; Linux/Unix and Windows Server (5+ years).
• Experience with VMware is a plus; environment with security constraints (2+ years).
• Experience in systems monitoring and capacity management (5+ years).

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy, and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure supporting critical apps.
• Build deployment, monitoring, and analysis tooling for infrastructure; improve automation.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and maintenance with IaC tools.
• Run the platform in operational condition and ensure scalability.
• Collaborate with infra teams on resource planning and future growth.
• Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis and resolution.
• Engage in on-call rotations to stay aligned with operations.
• Address edge cases, failure modes, and platform enhancements.
