Job summary

HyLight is building autonomous airships and turning large volumes of sensor data into actionable insights for energy, transport, and infrastructure operators. We seek a seasoned Full-Stack Engineer to join the Platform Team, building internal tools, ground-station software, and cross-team automations.

You’ll own features end-to-end—from planning to deployment—while collaborating with embedded, software, and data teams. The role supports a hybrid Paris-area location with global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• A few years of experience building and shipping full-stack web applications.
• Track record of end-to-end ownership: shipped things and handled production issues.
• Genuine interest in building tools that people inside a company use daily.

Responsibilities

• Ship internal applications the team relies on every day — mission planning, fleet & inventory tracking, post-flight review, regulatory dashboards, CRM-adjacent tooling.
• Own the business model in code and translate real-world operations into clean data models.
• Eliminate repetitive manual workflows by replacing them with software solutions.
• Integrate Notion, Slack, GitHub, OnShape to enable data flow and a single source of truth.
• Solve hard domain problems: turn weather, airspace, regulation and fleet data into actionable flight schedules.
• Contribute to the ground station — telemetry dashboards, sensor feeds, and pilot tools with the embedded team.
• Design and maintain APIs and services supporting frontend apps and integrations.
• Build AI-powered tools that give the team leverage.
• Own existing systems: fix bugs, refactor, monitor reliability, ensure daily operations stay up.
