ABC arbitrage in Paris, Opéra area, is seeking an experienced Core Platform engineer to join our five-person team. You will design and build core services in C#/.NET and maintain Python libraries across data and research ecosystems.

The role covers distributed systems, data infrastructure, and tooling to boost developer productivity, with up to 50% remote work. We value strong fundamentals, API design, and ownership from architecture to production.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals; ability to learn over language/framework specifics.
• Experience building backend or systems software in modern languages (e.g. C#, C++, Rust, Go, Java).

Responsabilités

• Design and build core services and libraries in C#/.NET.
• Design and maintain Python libraries, SDKs and integration layers.
• Work on distributed computing, data infrastructure, messaging and internal APIs.
• Build tools and abstractions to hide infrastructure complexity and improve developer productivity.
• Design APIs and interfaces for a consistent C# and Python experience.
• Own technical topics from architecture to production and investigate production issues.
