CybelAngel in Paris or fully remote from anywhere in France is seeking a backend-focused software engineer to join the Core Team. You will design, implement and deploy features for our Python APIs powering the products used by security analysts and clients.

You will work with a broad frontend/backend stack, including VueJS/TypeScript on the frontend, Python/Flask on the backend, and modern cloud/Kubernetes infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment.
• Meaningful contribution to a large web application, especially back-end.
• Solid experience with back-end development (ideally Python).
• Comfortable with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Understanding of web-related security risks (or motivation to learn).
• A fullstack & DevOps mindset.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools.

• Monitor applications running in production.

• Use AI-assisted development tools as a genuine productivity lever, not just as an autocomplete.
• Contribute to integrating AI/LLM capabilities into our products where relevant.
• Share learnings with your team and help shape our collective practices around AI-assisted development.
• Stay up to date with how AI tooling is evolving and bring relevant experiments to the table.
