SGH Medical Pharma Group is seeking a Plastic Injection Molding Test Technician for our Rovipharm facility in Val-Revermont (01). You will conduct acceptance testing and document results, and qualify tooling to ensure products meet specifications.

Reporting to the Director of Catalog Product Development and Test Center within the Group Technical Department, you will optimize cycle times, adjust molds and machines, and provide production support during testing and qualification tasks, with

• Background in plastics engineering with a practical focus.
• Solid experience in plastic injection molding processes.
• Experience in tool testing, qualification, and process validation.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
• Rigorous, methodical, and pragmatic with process optimization sense.
• Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of malfunctions.
• Ability to manage priorities and collaborate across departments.

Your Assignment

Reporting to the Director of Catalog Product Development and Test Center, within the Group Technical Department, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting the acceptance, testing, and qualification of tooling.

In this role, your main responsibilities will be:

• Conduct testing through the validation of initial samples and qualifications
• Qualify the injection molding process for each new product
• Recommend adjustments across the entire process: mold, machine, and material
• Take the initiative to improve industrial performance and develop innovative technical solutions.
• Optimize cycle times and injection parameters.
• Provide support to production teams when the workload for testing and qualification tasks allows.

Desired Qualifications

• With a background in plastics engineering (high school diploma through two years of post‑secondary education), you have solid experience in plastic injection molding and are proficient in press setup.
• You understand the challenges involved in developing new products.
• Initial experience in testing, development, or qualification of injection molding processes is a definite plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Rigorous, methodical, and pragmatic, you enjoy optimizing processes and contributing to the success of new industrial projects.
• With strong analytical skills, you can identify the causes of malfunctions and propose concrete solutions.
• Responsive, you know how to manage priorities and work as part of a team with various departments.

Occasional travel to the Saint-Marcellin site is to be expected.
