SGH Medical Pharma Group is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead cross‑functional marketing activities from Lyon. You will collaborate with Sales, R&D and external partners to strengthen brand and product messaging.

The role emphasizes content creation, website optimization (GEO/SEO/SEA), trade show orchestration across Europe, and a strong emphasis on written communication in English. You’ll join a dynamic, diverse marketing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and initial work experience.
• Interest in the healthcare field.
• Strong writing and English proficiency.
• Proficiency with MS Office and design/photo tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

Responsabilités

• Assist sales teams with prospecting and client meetings.
• Develop and improve the group’s website (content, GEO/SEO/SEA) and design.
• Create visual and editorial content (newsletters, print materials, presentations).
• Organise and coordinate participation in trade shows in Europe.
• Coordinate with external service providers (agencies, printers, freelancers).
• Help implement the marketing plan and monitor KPIs.

Your assignment:

Reporting to Clémence, the Group’s Marketing & Communications Manager, you will work on a variety of projects at the intersection of marketing, communications, and business development.

Your goals? To better understand our markets and customers, monitor changes in our competitive environment, and transform this information into tools and recommendations that support the Group’s growth.

You’ll be fully integrated into the team and will work closely with the sales, marketing, and R&D teams, as well as various internal stakeholders.

Working closely with the marketing and communications team, your future challenges will include:

Communication:

• Assist the sales teams with their prospecting and client meetings.
• Proactively support internal teams by ensuring that product and competitive information is readily available.
• Develop and improve the group’s website in terms of both content (GEO, SEO, SEA) and design.
• Design visual and editorial content (newsletters, print materials, presentations).
• Organize and coordinate the group’s participation in trade shows in Europe.
• Coordinate with external service providers (agencies, printers, freelancers).

Marketing:

• Help implement the marketing plan
• Monitor the marketing department’s KPIs and propose an action plan accordingly
• In collaboration with the sales and marketing teams, analyze market opportunities (market trends, new products, customer needs, pricing, etc.) and consolidate them
• Analyze and document competitive benchmarks for our product lines
• Monitor the budget allocated to marketing initiatives and ensure proper reporting

The position is based in Lyon, with occasional travel to our production sites in the Rhône-Alpes region.

Desired profile:

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have proven initial work experience
• You have an interest in the healthcare field
• You are known for your strong creative thinking and versatility
• You are self-reliant and demonstrate initiative
• You have excellent interpersonal skills
• You are a skilled writer with a polished writing style and impeccable spelling
• You are proficient in office software (Microsoft Office) as well as graphic design and photo editing tools: InDesign,
• Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Knowledge of WordPress, WooCommerce, and Adobe Premiere Pro would be a major plus
• You have a good command of English to communicate with international contacts, and most of the writing is in English
