SGH Medical Pharma Group seeks a skilled setter/maintenance technician for a permanent role in Saint-Marcellin (38). The position runs on a 3×8 shift schedule in a brand-new air-conditioned injection molding shop.

You will assemble/disassemble molds, adjust settings, start or restart production, perform quality checks, document activities, and support smooth, compliant operations with operators and the quality team.

Qualifications

• Vocational baccalaureate in plastics processing or equivalent level of experience gained through professional work.
• Knowledge of first-level maintenance of machines and molds.
• Experience with Demag, Engel, and Wittmann is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assemble and disassemble molds.
• Make adjustments and/or fine-tune settings based on deviations observed.
• Initiate production runs or restart them.
• Conduct visual and metrological quality checks at the start of each work order and during shift handoffs.
• Complete the required documentation at the start, during, and end of production.
• Ensure smooth operations in terms of productivity and quality.
• Respond to machine alarms and requests for assistance from operators or the quality department.
• Maintain the overall condition of all equipment.
• Provide advice and explanations to operators regarding equipment operation.

We are offering a permanent position on a 3×8 shift schedule in Saint-Marcellin (38)

Your assignment:

You make the necessary adjustments to start production runs. In this role, you will:

• Assemble and disassemble molds
• Make adjustments and/or fine-tune settings based on any deviations observed
• Initiate production runs or restart them
• Conduct visual and metrological quality checks at the start of each work order and during shift handoffs, as specified in the work instructions
• Complete the required documentation at the start, during, and end of production
• Ensure smooth operations in terms of productivity and quality
• Respond to machine alarms and requests for assistance from operators or the quality department
• Maintain the overall condition of all equipment
• Receive handover instructions from the previous shift and ensure a smooth handover to the next setter
• Follow waste sorting procedures
• Notify the Team Leader of any anomalies as soon as possible
• Provide advice and explanations to operators regarding equipment operation

Required skills:

• Vocational baccalaureate in plastics processing or equivalent level of experience gained through professional work
• Knowledge of first-level maintenance of machines and molds
• Experience with Demag, Engel, and Wittmann is preferred
