Job summary

InSpek is seeking a hands-on PIC Engineer to own the physical realization of PIC-based sensing probes, from packaging to module characterization and supplier coordination. You will collaborate with photonics and applications engineers and share optical testing duties.

Reports to the Head of Photonics. You bring 2+ years of PIC-based product experience, hands-on PIC packaging, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial experience with PIC-based products.
• Experience with PIC packaging is a plus.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of optical testing tools (lasers, power meters, spectrometers).

Responsibilities

• Characterization & testing of chips and packaging.
• Coordinate packaging runs and assembly workflows with subcontractors.
• Define technical requirements and manage supplier validation.
• Maintain assembly protocols and traceable documentation.
