QuanG Research in France is offering a COFUND PhD position hosted at Institut Néel in Grenoble. The project investigates InAs/Sn nanostructures and tunable Josephson junctions for quantum devices. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree by the deadline and comply with MSCA mobility rules.

Three-year fully funded PhD with international collaboration. The program emphasizes TEM analysis, EDX, GPA, and growth modeling to understand interfaces and strain distribution for high-performance quantum

Qualifications

  • Requires Master’s degree or equivalent by the application deadline.
  • MSCA mobility rule applies: must not have resided in France for more than 12 months in the last 36 months.
  • Must not already hold a doctoral degree.
  • No nationality or age restrictions.

Responsabilités

  • Characterize atomic interfaces using TEM, GPA, EDX and related methods.
  • Analyze surface preparation and growth conditions to improve junction quality.
  • Coordinate with international partners on measurements and data analysis.
