Job summary

France Bioimaging seeks a PhD student to join the MitoCoRe team in Clermont-Ferrand for a 3-year project. The position focuses on mitochondria DNA compaction and DNA repair, combining advanced microscopy, single-molecule studies, biochemistry and protein purification.

You will work at the interface of imaging and molecular biology, contributing to a multidisciplinary effort in mitochondrial biology and biophysics.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with minimum grade of 12/20.
• Interest in mitochondrial biology, DNA repair, biophysics and/or molecular biology.

Responsibilities

• Join the ANR project MitoCoRe team in Clermont-Ferrand for 3 years.
• Investigate the interplay between mitochondrial DNA compaction and DNA repair.
• Work with microscopy, single-molecule studies, biochemistry and protein purification.
