Job summary

IPVF – Photovoltaic Institute of Île-de-France seeks an engineer specializing in vacuum deposition to advance perovskite-based devices. The role covers substrate preparation, thin-film deposition under vacuum, and process control to ensure reproducible results.

You will organize research production meetings, participate in experiments, and collaborate with researchers to improve materials and manufacturing methods; you will report findings and contribute to the experimental plan.

Qualifications

• Master/Engineer diploma in materials science or semiconductor.
• Knowledge of basic photovoltaics concepts.
• Experience with vacuum deposition processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee critical manufacturing steps (laser etching, sputtering, evaporation).
• Organize production meetings and ensure sample quality and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with researchers to improve materials and manufacturing methods and plan experiments.
• Interact with project members and drivers to coordinate experimental plans.
