Ajinomoto Group in Europe is seeking an R&D Technician on a CDI contract to join the Dairy & Solution Laboratory in Le Thillay. You will contribute to development of new dairy and dairy alternatives and support equipment-based trials.

The role involves collaborating with engineers, performing texture measurements, evaluating shelf-life, and helping organize visits while maintaining lab stocks and safety.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and perform weekly dairy and dairy alternatives trials using equipment such as Thermomix, cheese VATs and Cooker.
• Manufacture samples for sales presentations and trade shows.
• Launch new products in collaboration with engineers, including texture measurement and shelf-life monitoring.
• Assist in organizing customers’ visits and demonstrations in safety-compliant settings.
• Contribute to QHSE by managing stocks of products and equipment in the laboratory.

We arelooking for a R&D Technician in CDI tojoin the Dairy & dairy alternatives team in the Solution &Ingredient Division of our European subsidiary of the Ajinomoto Group, whichprovides technical and innovative solutions to food manufacturers in Europe,the Middle East, and Africa. Our expertise in ingredient formulation enables usto meet the specific needs of our customers.

The applicationdevelopment center located in Le Thillay (95), named Dairy & SolutionLaboratory (D&SL), is composed of Dairy and Dairy alternatives team(D&A), Sweet and confectionary team (S&C) and Food Service team. We contribute to the development ofnew applications and products and ensure the smooth operation of the site.

Your mainresponsibilities:

• Contribute to the development ofnew applications by preparing and performing weekly dairy and dairyalternatives trials using different equipment such as Thermomix, cheeseVATs and Cooker. This includes the manufacturing andcharacterizing of a range of products including milk, yoghurt, cheese, andtheir alternatives.
• Contribute to the development ofnew applications by preparing and performing weekly trials to produce andevaluate other various food such as ham, rice, sauces, meat or fish, etc.
• Manufacturing samples for salespresentations and tradeshows

Yourmissions also include:

• Contribute to the launch of newproducts in collaboration with the engineers. This includes texturemeasurement, sensory evaluation, powder properties, shelf-life monitoring,etc..
• Participate in organizingcustomers’ visits and visitors from the group and other subsidiaries byaccompanying team managers and engineers during demonstrations forvisitors in compliance with safety regulations.
• Contribute to QHSE (quality,health, safety and environment) and ensure the smooth operation of thelaboratory by managing stocks of products and equipment.
