TotalEnergies OneTech in Pau, France, is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Inspection Field Support team. You will oversee inspections of pressure equipment, tanks, pipelines, and structures, ensuring HSE and quality compliance while coordinating unit shutdowns and turnarounds.

With 3+ years in industrial inspection and an Engineering or Master’s degree, you thrive in multicultural environments and communicate in French and English at C1 level.

Qualifications

• Holding an Engineering Degree, a Master’s Degree (Master 2), or an equivalent recognized qualification, you have at least 3 years of experience in industrial inspection.
• Strong knowledge of industrial inspection, equipment integrity, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in IT tools and inspection-related software applications.

Responsabilités

• Ensuring compliance with HSE procedures and quality management practices within inspection activities.
• Supervising and validating inspections of pressure equipment, storage tanks, off-site lines, pipelines, structures, and concrete assets.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance as well as adherence to internal specifications and requirements applicable to Pressure Equipment.
• Managing relationships with regulatory authorities on matters related to inspection activities.
• Participating in internal and external expert networks related to inspection disciplines.
• Coordinating inspection activities during the preparation and execution of unit shutdowns and turnarounds.
• Contributing to the development and update of technical standards, procedures, and quality manuals.
• Supporting the definition and deployment of departmental and service strategies and roadmaps.

Join the Inspection teams within the OneTech branch and contribute to the safety, integrity, and performance of TotalEnergies’ industrial facilities worldwide.

As part of the Inspection Field Support department, made up of experienced engineers and technicians, you will be involved in high value-added assignments across all Company business segments. You will provide your expertise during major shutdowns, site audits, large-scale industrial projects, and operations requiring a high level of expertise in equipment inspection and integrity managemen t.

Activities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with HSE procedures and quality management practices within inspection activities;
• Supervising and validating inspections of pressure equipment, storage tanks, off-site lines, pipelines, structures, and concrete assets;
• Ensuring regulatory compliance as well as adherence to internal specifications and requirements applicable to Pressure Equipment;

Candidate Profile

Holding an Engineering Degree, a Master’s Degree (Master 2), or an equivalent recognized qualification, you have at least 3 years of experience in industrial inspection within the Exploration & Production, refining, petrochemical, chemical, or comparable industries.

You have:

• Strong knowledge of industrial inspection, equipment integrity, and maintenance;
• Technical foundations in metallurgy, corrosion, materials science, or pressure equipment;
• Proficiency in IT tools and inspection-related software applications;
• A solid understanding of the challenges associated with industrial asset integrity management and risk control;
• The ability to work effectively in demanding and multicultural environments;
• The capability to work on both onshore and offshore industrial facilities;
• National and international mobility, both for short‑term assignments and long‑term deployments;
• Excellent command of French and English (minimum C1 level).

CTNIIC/UIC, API, EEMUA, or equivalent certifications would be considered an asset.

You are recognized for your rigor, autonomy, and strong sense of responsibility. With excellent analytical skills, you are able to assess equipment condition, identify potential risks, and formulate appropriate recommendations to ensure the integrity and reliability of industrial facilities. You enjoy working in technical and multicultural environments and are capable of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of inspection, maintenance, and industrial asset integrity management challenges.
