Someone who can own everything people-related on the ground in Europe: hiring, day‑to‑day HR, office life, and making sure every person who joins has a great experience from day one.
This is not a support role. You'll be the go-to person for the entire European team and work hand‑in‑hand with the Head of People to build something we're proud of.
Run hiring end‑to‑end for European roles: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, managing offers
Build and maintain a strong talent pool so we’re never starting from zero
Participate in optimising our hiring machine by leveraging AI tools to move faster and smarter
Make candidates want to join — and understand why this team is worth it
Handle all admin before day one (contracts, tools, paperwork, equipment)
Coordinate the first week experience: welcome pack, breakfast, intro sessions
Make sure every new joiner feels set up to do great work fast
Be the first point of contact for employee questions — answered within 24 h
Handle employment contracts, leave, and day‑to‑day HR admin
Flag issues early and help solve them before they become problems
Keep the office running smoothly: supplies, deliveries, maintenance, daily clean
Coordinate with the building manager for facilities and any technical issues
Create an environment people actually want to come to
Coordinate team gatherings, offsites, and cohesion initiatives (random coffee, team lunches, etc.)
Support the Head of People in making culture moments happen
3–5 years in a People / HR generalist or Talent role, ideally in a SaaS startup or scale‑up environment
Comfortable owning both recruiting and HR ops — you don’t wait to be told what needs doing
Familiar with French employment law and payroll basics
You are familiar with AI tools - and not only ChatGPT
You have a startup mindset: you move fast, figure things out, and don’t need a perfect process to get started
You're organised without being rigid — you can handle 10 things at once and nothing falls through the cracks
You're a people person in the real sense: people trust you quickly, and you take that seriously
You care about candidate and employee experience — the details matter to you
You're solutions‑oriented: when something's broken, you fix it and then make sure it doesn't break again
Previous exposure to an international team — great if you've worked across cultures
A seat at the table — you'll work directly with the Head of People and have real ownership from day one
A small, high‑trust team where what you do is visible and matters
A fast‑moving environment where you'll learn more in 12 months than in 3 years elsewhere
Competitive salary benchmarked to market
Hybrid setup — 3 days in the Paris office, 2 days remote per week + 5 fully remote weeks per year
A Paris office people actually enjoy coming to
