Today, we are a team of around 600 people from over 50 nationalities, united by a shared ambition: to drive meaningful change in the fashion industry.

Our values, Activism, Transparency, Dedication, Greatness, and Collective, shape how we build, collaborate, and grow every day.

About the role

As a People Operations Apprentice, you will support the local HR team in delivering key HR operations across employee administration, payroll, temporary workforce management, and employee experience initiatives. You will play an important role in ensuring a smooth employee journey while contributing to various HR projects across our Paris and Tourcoing sites.

What you will do

HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle

  • Coordinate HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contract management, employee documentation (certificates, amendments, administrative letters), and reporting.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employees and managers regarding day‑to‑day HR questions and policies.
  • Coordinate occupational health administration, including medical visits, headcount updates, and invoicing processes.

Payroll & Time Management

  • Support monthly payroll preparation by reviewing working time records and variable compensation elements for our Paris and Tourcoing sites.
  • Manage employee absences, sick leave, overtime, meal vouchers, and communicate relevant information to payroll teams.
  • Support employees on payroll‑related topics, including leave management and social security compensation processes (IJSS).

Temporary Workforce Management

  • Support the temporary workforce process in partnership with staffing agencies.
  • Coordinate temporary worker administration, including contracts, timesheet validation, invoicing, and reporting.
  • Monitor key workforce metrics such as temporary workforce turnover and absenteeism.

Employee Experience & HR Projects

  • Contribute to onboarding initiatives and employee engagement programs that strengthen company culture.
  • Develop and monitor HR KPIs and dashboards to support decision‑making.
  • Participate in HR projects aimed at improving processes and the overall employee experience.
Who you are
  • Master's student (M1/M2) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field looking for an apprenticeship‑"contrat d'apprentissage" or "contrat de professionalisation".
  • Available to work on‑site at least 70% of the time.
  • Ideally have a first experience in Human Resources through an internship, apprenticeship, or student role.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional, proactive, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment.
  • Fluent in both French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
What We Offer
  • Purpose‑driven work at scale
Join a company reshaping the fashion industry towards circularity; you directly contribute to reducing waste and extending the life of luxury items.
  • High‑impact scope & ownership
Work on products used globally, where your decisions have immediate, measurable impact on millions of users across 70+ countries.
  • A truly international environment
Collaborate with a diverse team of 50+ nationalities across Paris, London, Berlin, New York, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Career acceleration in a fast‑moving scale‑up
Take ownership early, grow fast, and shape your path, as an expert or a future leader.
  • Learning & growth as a priority
Dedicated budget, continuous feedback culture, and opportunities to work on cutting‑edge topics (AI, marketplace dynamics, scalability, etc.).
  • Flexible ways of working
Hybrid model (typically 2 days remote per week), with trust and autonomy at the core of how we operate.
  • Give back through action
2 paid days per year to support a cause of your choice and actively contribute to positive impact beyond your day‑to‑day role.
  • Competitive compensation & benefits
Including bonus, health coverage, lunch vouchers, Gym‑Pass, and additional legal perks depending on your location.

Vestiaire Collective is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.

Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds including women, people with disabilities, and other marginalized communities, are less likely to apply unless they meet 100% of the criteria.

At Vestiaire Collective, we believe diversity drives better decisions, stronger products, and more meaningful impact. If this role excites you but your experience doesn’t align perfectly, we still encourage you to apply, your perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.
