CO2 AI is seeking a People Manager in Paris to own the People function across the company, partnering with managers on development, performance, compensation and organisation, while leading HR operations, payroll and day-to-day office processes.

You will drive automation and AI-enabled improvements, manage end-to-end recruitment, and ensure French compliance including contracts, DPAE, mutuelle, and prévoyance.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of HR experience with genuine business partnering.
• Autonomy to set priorities and clearly communicate limits.
• Experience automating or redesigning HR processes with measurable impact.
• Hands-on credibility across HR operations: contracts, payroll and benefits.
• Working knowledge of French employment practice (Code du travail, Syntec, mutuelle).
• Fluent written and spoken English; reading French docs is a plus.
• Degree in HR or employment law is advantageous.

• Act as trusted advisor to managers, shaping development plans and career paths.
• Own and deliver the People roadmap: performance reviews, comp, onboarding, policies.
• Leverage AI to reduce manual HR work and improve workflows.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, salary benchmarking and offers.
• Oversee HR operations and payroll across compliance and benefits.
• Manage office life and ensure smooth team logistics.
