Job summary

Contentsquare is seeking an apprentice for the French Payroll Team to support the monthly payroll process for 460 employees. You will work with ADP Decidium and Workday, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with SYNTEC agreements.

You should be pursuing a Bac +3 to Bac +5 in Payroll or HR, demonstrate strong Excel skills, and show attention to detail. Hybrid/remote options and a competitive benefits package are offered.

• Strong interest in Payroll.
• English proficiency: intermediate.
• Excel skills (VLOOKUP, formula creation).

Responsibilities

• Support monthly payroll production using ADP Decidium.
• Retrieve monthly payroll data from HRIS (Workday).
• Enter and verify payroll data; update employee records in ADP Decidium.
• Calculate and process salaries, social charges, and taxes per French regulations and SYNTEC.
• Coordinate with agencies such as Social Security or Prévoyance.

Reporting to a Senior Payroll Specialist and part of our French Payroll Team (3 persons), you will support our payroll operations in France, helping to deliver the monthly payroll for our 460 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance while maintaining an employee-centric approach. In your day to day, and in coordination with our Payroll Specialist, you will:

• Participate in the monthly payroll production process using ADP Decidium
• Retrieve the monthly payroll data from our HRIS (Workday)
• Enter and verify payroll data, maintain and update employee records in ADP Decidium
• Calculate and process salaries, social charges, and taxes according to French regulations and our bargaining agreement (SYNTEC)
• Contact with agencies such as Social Security or Prévoyance, etc.
• Handle the recovery of daily social security indemnities (IJSS)
• Monitor sick leave until the initiation of the Prévoyance and ensure follow-up of active Prévoyance claims.
• Generate and distribute payslips to the employees’ evault (Peopledoc)
• Get involved in all recurring payroll cycle activities (certifications, reporting, etc.).
• Respond to queries from employees, third parties, and other stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

You are looking for an apprenticeship contract (contrat d’apprentissage ou de professionnalisation) for one or two years.

Technical Competencies

• You are preparing a licence or master's degree (Bac +3 to Bac +5) in Payroll or HR
• Strong interests for Payroll
• English proficiency: intermediate
• Excel skills (VLOOKUP, formula creation)
• Comfortable working with IT tools and numerical calculations.
• A first professional experience (internship, summer job…) will be appreciated.

• Rigor and attention to detail.
• Critical thinking skills (able to analyze and challenge the data).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under deadlines
• Strong team player with effective communication, collaboration, and mutual support.
